The games on these websites are non violent and are educational in nature.  Here students will find games of strategy, logical thinking, basic skills, spatial reasoning, games to improve their hand-eye coordination, and many others.  Alphabet Organizer  
 Cool Math   Rush, 3-D Mazes, Connect 4, Connecentration, and many others
 Crickweb   Lots of fun educational games
 Diamante Poems   Help with writing poems which are in a diamond shape
 Ed Heads   Great interactive site for how simple machines work
 Fact Fragment Frenzy   Students are read a short passage. Using key points in that passage, students are asked to find the most important parts.
 Fantastic Contraption   Fun physics - engineering puzzle game - problem solving galore!
 Flip A Chip  
 Fun Brain   Math, language, science, geography/history, sports and art/music games
 Fun Island   All types of free online games such as: arcade games, action games, mind games, etc. The mind games are my favorite - lots of challenge! Try "Covert Mission" or "Puzzle Freak" (just to name a few).
 I-Spy Games   A sample of their commercial I Spy games. Brought to you by Scholastic
 Idioms  
 Interactive Activities   Decoding puzzles, fractions, patterns, tessellations, probability, and many more!
 Knowledge Adventure   Lots of fun safe games such as, PacMan, Scene Memory, Find the Pair, and many many more
 Line of Symmetry   Video about lines of symmetry with a quiz at the end.
 Learning Planet   Games by grade level, subject or category
 Math Cats   MicroWorlds math, 3-D Tic Tac Toe, Guess a Number and more
 Math Is Fun   Play against the computer in a game of chess, checkers, Tanks, Battleship, etc.
 Math Playground   Tetris, Simon, Rubik's Cube, Hare and Hounds (just to name a few)
 Mensa for Kids   Higher intellegences games for kids.
 Multiplication Games  
 National Library of Virtual Manipulatives   Great math site - organized by grade level and subject. Reinforces Every Day Math concepts. Tangrams and Mastermind are two of my favorites!
 Optical Illusions  
 PBS Kids   From the channel 2 broadcast. Lots of age appropriate games and activities
 Play Kids Games   Alphabet, math, vocabulary, memory and geography games and puzzles.
 Primary Games   Great website - lots of games. I highly recommend the strategy puzzle game "Super Slueth" - uses deductive reasoning skills. "Crazy Taxi" is another student favorite - good for hand/eye coordination.
 Reading is Fundamental   K-6 Reading Games
 Science and Engineering Games for 9-11 year olds   Interactive games about things such as sounds, electricity, light, etc.
 Scholastic Games   Games featuring some of your favorite characters like Goosebumbs, Holes, and Lab Rat (problem solving FUN!).
 School Time Games   Memory and logic games such as: Reversi, chess, checkers, etc.
 Venn Diagram   Interactive Venn Diagram. Help with organizing thoughts.
 What's In The Bag?   Students are given three descriptive words as clues to find out what's in the bag.
 Woolands Games   Memory games with different levels, animal arcade, 3D mazes and much more.
 Word Family Sort  
 Word Wizard   Using ideas from books such as "Cordoroy", students use five letters to create words.
 Zoopz   Games that make you think. Frog Solitaire and Inch Worm II are harder than they look!
