Instructions to Have the Computer Read the Text to You
Follow these steps if you would like the computer to read the information to you:

1. This does not work with Firefox - use Safari instead.
2. Highlight the text you would like read.
3. Click on "Safari" located up on the top menu bar.
4. Go down to "Services".
5. Go across "Services" to "Speech".
6. Click on "Start Speaking Text".



 SIRS Discoverer   Search by subject or keyword. Has subject trees, kid friendly website links, and general reference.
 Grolier's New Book of Knowledge   World history timeline, homework help, current news stories and more.
 Encarta Online   The free MSN Learning & Research site features more than 4,500 articles pooled from Encarta, the award-winning electronic reference library, and comes with dictionaries, maps, fast facts, interactive quizzes, handy homework tools and more.
