| | | About Mr. Sykora | | | | Chad Sykora | I have been teaching at the American Indian Magnet since 1997. All of
my years have been in sixth grade. I received my Bachelors Degree from
Hamline University in 1996. I earned a Masters Degree in Educational
Leadership from Southwest State University in 2001.
I live in Blaine with my wife Meredith and my two sons, Jake and Henry.
I enjoy the outdoors, and spend time hunting and fishing many weekends.
I grew up in a small town in central Minnesota, and travel back there
often to go camping. On weekends, you will often find me outside
tinkering with the yard or playing with my boys.
I really enjoy teaching the sixth grade because the students have a
great sense of humor and always keep my job interesting. I like to read
new books that I know my students will enjoy. My favorite subject to
teach is math because I think it is exciting when the students learn
something new. I really enjoy this school because the staff are friendly
and really care about the students and each other.
