Gifted Education Mission Statement:
Advocate for the rights of gifted learners through programming that identifies, nurtures and challenges students to develop their strengths and passions.

At American Indian Magnet School we provide Gifted Education through several enrichment opportunities.  All students participate in Enrichment times where they meet in smaller groups with Ms. Mahoney (Enrichment G/T Teacher).

Students may be part of a Lakota or Ojibwe Scholars program.  They may also attend Indian Youth Enrichment (an after school program for Native American youth).

Students in grades K, 2, 4, 5, and 6 participate in our partner program with the MN Wildlife Refuge.  Students are afforded many experiential learning opportunities through seasonal field trips to the refuge.
